PT30 Slo Pitch Tournament
We are officially set to host a slo pitch tournament in the memorial of Parker Tobin who was a good friend to many of us. Our Slo pitch tournament will take place July 12-14 at the meridian sports park in Stony Plain Alberta. It is a charitable event and all proceeds will be donated to the Parker Tobin Memorial Fund. We currently have a couple of local sponsors but if you are interested in sponsoring or helping us out with raffle items or make a donation please contact us at PT30Slop@gmail.com. Raffle item proceeds will be donated to the Parker Tobin Scholarship fund as well as any other donations. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch and donations will also be accepted at the event July 12-14. Our goal is to raise as much money and awareness for Parker’s fund as we can, Parker was taken way to soon in the Humboldt bus crash that took place April 6th of last year. He was known all through-out the Stony/Spruce community as a great goalie and an even better person, this tournament is for a great cause and those attending are to remember it is in the memory of Parker so to act respectable and most importantly have fun.
